February 14, 2013 Potomac, MD *Upcoming	Leadership Workshop	Emerging Leaders Development Program Capstone Steve Brigham will facilitate a high level management training workshop on environmental issues for the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
February 6, 2013 Washington, D.C.	Stakeholder Summit	Common Ground Summit We are working with the Fix the Debt on a Summit to discuss national debt and deficit issues.
December 1-8, 2012 Washington D.C.	Roundtable Discussions	WMATA AmericaSpeaks partnered with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to conduct a series of meetings on transportation planning for the region.
September 29, 2012 Cincinnati, OH.	21st Century Town Meeting	YWCA AmericaSpeaks will be leading a conversation with YWCA members on women’s views and priorities during the 2012 election.
June 9, 2012 Washington, D.C.	21st Century Town Meeting	Ward 8 Follow-Up Meeting Mayor Vincent Gray and Councilmember Marion Barry host a follow-up community summit on the opportunities and challenges facing Ward 8.
June 27-28, 2012 Washington, D.C.	Facilitation	Faith & Politics Dialogue Carolyn Lukensmeyer will be facilitating a program on public discourse for The Faith & Politics Institute.
May 4, 2012 Washington, D.C.	Facilitation and Polling	YWCA 2012 Conference Carolyn Lukensmeyer will be facilitating a panel and providing keypad polling .
April 17-18, 2012 Brasilia, Brazil	Presentation and Webcast Support	Open Government Partnership 2012 Brasilia Meeting AmericaSpeaks will present at a panel on participatory practices. Between April 17-18, AmericaSpeaks will support a live webcast of the meeting.
April 19, 2012 Washington, DC	21st Century Summit	American Bar Association Conference The ABA will incorporate an AmericaSpeaks 21st Century Summit in a plenary session on certification. The ABA event will take place on April 19.
March 31, 2012 Tucson, AZ	21st Century Town Meeting	Earth Hour Summit AmericaSpeaks and World Wildlife Fund will organize, design, and facilitate a 200 person town meeting to increase the impact of the WWF’s Earth Hour campaign.
February 28, 2012 Dallas, TX	21st Century Town Meeting	Green Communities Summit AmericaSpeaks and Enterprise Community Partners will organize, design, and facilitate a 200 person town meeting around affordable housing issues. Stay tuned for more information!
February 11, 2012 Washington, DC	21st Century Town Meeting	One City Summit Washington, DC Mayor Vincent Gray will host a town meeting to give District of Columbia residents the chance to provide input on important decisions that will shape the city for years to come. Click here to register!
February 2, 2012 Washington, DC	21st Century Town Meeting	Walter Reed Reuse Plan The Department of the Army has changed the land boundaries it originally offered to the District of Columbia for reuse, adding five additional acres to the area affected by the plan. The Walter Reed Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) will reopen the community engagement process and host three additional forums. The meetings will be held 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Click here to register.

November 3-4, 2011 Miami, FL	Speaking Engagement	Urban Libraries Council Partners For Success: Civic Engagement and Community Building Conference AmericaSpeaks Founder and President, Carolyn Lukensmeyer, will deliver the keynote address to the Urban Libraries Council’s 2011 conference. The Partners Conference will bring together member libraries and their local partners to learn the essential role libraries play as leaders in community and civic engagement. November 1, 2011 Baltimore, MD	Speaking Engagement	OD Network Annual Conference 2011 – Kurt Lewin Masterclass Carolyn Lukensmeyer will conduct a masterclass as part of the Organization Development Network’s 2011 Annual Conference. Her Master Class will focus on grace, gratitude, will and persistence as core qualities necessary to face the extraordinary challenges our country and our world are experiencing at this moment in human history. October 24, 2011 Washington, DC	Speaking Engagement	Roger Jones Award AmericaSpeaks Founder and President, Carolyn Lukensmeyer, will deliver the keynote address at the Roger Jones Award for Executive Leadership ceremony at American University. The award is given to two federal career executives in recognition of their exceptional public service and dedication to the work and goals of government.

October 5-6, 2011 San Francisco, CA	21st Century Summit	ConvergeUS AmericaSpeaks facilitated ConvergeUS’ first annual fall gathering. The gathering brought together leading subject matter experts and social innovators to chart a year-long process for a successful collaboration. Participants will have one-year to determine the best manner to achieve breakthrough results.
September 30, 2011 Washington, DC	21st Century Summit	Emergency Preparedness Forum Young people from around Washington, DC were convened at Washington, DC’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency office to learn to better prepare themselves, their families, and their communities for emergency situations.
September 29, 2011 Washington, DC	21st Century Summit	Emergency Preparedness Forum Washington, DC business leaders gathered at the IMF Building to brainstorm around how their organizations should best respond to an emergency situation.
September 28, 2011 Annapolis, MD	21st Century Summit	NOAA SES Conference AmericaSpeaks designed and facilitated a 21st Century Summit to conclude NOAA’s 2011 Senior Executive Service Conference in Annapolis, MD. Approximately 100 senior leaders from the agency participated.
September 23, 2011 Washington, DC	21st Century Summit	Emergency Preparedness Forum 60 leaders in faith-based communities in Washington, DC gathered at the 6th and I Historic Synagogue to brainstorm about how congregations and religious organizations can best support their members and communities before, during, and after an emergency.
September 14, 2011 Washington, DC	21st Century Summit	Emergency Preparedness Forum 100 service providers gathered at Union Station to learn how to be better prepared on a personal level and for the elderly and special needs folks to whom they provide essential services.
July 9, 2011 Washington, DC	21st Century Town Meeting	Ward 8 Community Summit On Saturday, July 9, 300 residents joined Mayor Vincent Gray, Councilman Barry, and representatives of many government agencies for this historic Ward 8 Community Summit. The Summit was a day-long interactive work session to develop priorities that will be used to ensure the community has a strong role in managing the economic changes it is undergoing.
June 20-22, 2011 San Francisco, CA	21st Century Summit	UASI/Homeland Security Conference AmericaSpeaks facilitated e a two-hour breakout session on Whole Community Approach to Emergency Management.
